On the full moon day in the month of 'Margashirsh' (December), Shri Datta Jayanti Festival is celebrated on Gagangad with great devotion. Thousands of bhaktas come to the mountain on this joyous occasion.
This is the main festival of the year where people from all rungs of society from far & near, have been coming regularly for the past four decades to get the Divine Blessings of Lord Dattatreya.
